Description
The Hubble Space telescope was launched in 1990 and to celebrate it's 20 year anniversary, we are providing a free screensaver featuring the best photos taken of deep space. NASA describes Hubble as 'A telescope that orbits Earth. Its position above the atmosphere, which distorts and blocks the light that reaches our planet, gives it a view of the universe that typically far surpasses that of ground-based telescopes.' What this doesn't say is that the Hubble photographs are breath-taking and you'll be left wondering if they are real or not. What's staggering, apart from their beauty is that they are real - not CGI, not paintings but photographs from all over the universe. So, enjoy this free Hubble screensaver and if you like the photographs, you can add even more for free. See the readme.txt for more details. Here are just two sample images from our best selections included with the free Hubble screensaver.
